const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(rowNumber, rowCount) {
  return character.repeat(rowNumber); // Return the result of the .repeat() call
}

// Example call to the function
const result = padRow(5, 10);

// Log the result to the console
console.log(result); // Outputs: "#####"

// User Editable Region

for (let i = 0; i < count; i = i + 1) {
  rows.push(character.repeat(i + 1))
}

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {

Try without adding the comment next to the code. The checker isn’t expecting any comments.

that doesnt work either

it actually doesnt have problem with comments, i had them in the steps before without complications

I copied the exact line of code to test it and it worked for me without any comments. I suggest clicking the reset button and trying that now.

okay but i really tried it, but lets see thanks

deleted the comments says the same, doesnt work, so where is the problem

look

Did you click the reset button?

I see from your screenshot that your code (the rest of it) looks different than mine.
Edit: for eg on line 10 I have a for loop statement but you do not

oh my, thats it lmao thanks, I accidentaly deleted it
