Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 91

Tell us what’s happening:

I am seemingly checking the while loop for done and count not the same and the console shows a working pyramid. Why am I not passing?

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(rowNumber, rowCount) {
  return " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber) + character.repeat(2 * rowNumber - 1) + " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber);
}

// TODO: use a different type of loop
/*for (let i = 1; i <= count; i++) {
  rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}*/

let continueLoop = false;
let done = 0;

// User Editable Region

while (done != count) {
  done++;
  rows.push(padRow(done, count));
  if (done === count) {
    continueLoop = false;
  }
}

// User Editable Region

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + "\n" + row;
}

console.log(result);

Challenge Information:

Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 91

The challenge wants you to use strictly not equal !== instead of not equal. !=.

The strict inequality operator !== allows you to check if two values are not equal, or do not have the same type. The syntax is similar to the equality operator: value !== 4.
