Learn Introductory JavaScript by Building a Pyramid Generator - Step 99

Tell us what’s happening:

My code won’t pass even though it is correct for

for(let i = count , false , false) {

};
it says my loop should use false as the condition and also use false as the iteration .where is my mistake?

Your code so far

const character = "#";
const count = 8;
const rows = [];

function padRow(rowNumber, rowCount) {
  return " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber) + character.repeat(2 * rowNumber - 1) + " ".repeat(rowCount - rowNumber);
}

// TODO: use a different type of loop
/*for (let i = 1; i <= count; i++) {
  rows.push(padRow(i, count));
}*/

/*while (rows.length < count) {
  rows.push(padRow(rows.length + 1, count));
}*/

// User Editable Region

for(let i = count , false , false) {

};

// User Editable Region

let result = ""

for (const row of rows) {
  result = result + row + "\n";
}

console.log(result);

Welcome to the forum @Sisa

The red squiggly lines in the editor indicate you have syntax errors.
The console is also giving you some information.

Take a look at the for and while loops you coded earlier to see how to code the loop.

Happy coding
