Learn Python List Comprehension by Building a Case Converter Program - Step 12

Tell us what’s happening:

Not sure what else to do. I’ve seen this exact step in the forums, but the comments don’t lead me to forming any kind of solution. Previous person posting about this in the forums seems to wind up with the same code I have. Not sure what it’s really asking of me.

Your code so far

def convert_to_snake_case(pascal_or_camel_cased_string):
    snake_cased_char_list = []
    for char in pascal_or_camel_cased_string:
        if char.isupper():
            converted_character = '_' + char.lower()
            snake_cased_char_list.append(converted_character)
        else:
            snake_cased_char_list.append(char)
    snake_cased_string = ''.join(snake_cased_char_list)
    clean_snake_cased_string = snake_cased_string.strip('_')

    return clean_snake_cased_string

This doesn’t do what you are thinking it does?

You should have only one line of code - call the function and immediately pass the return value into a print

ahhhhh you saved the day yet again Jeremy! Thank you
