Learn Regular Expressions by Building a Password Generator - Step 69

Tell us what’s happening:

I removed the function argument as instructed but it gives an error message, If I try changing the value in line 6 still does not recognize the default value

Your code so far

import re
import secrets
import string

def generate_password(length=16, nums=1, special_chars=1, uppercase=1, lowercase=1):
    # Define the possible characters for the password
    letters = string.ascii_letters
    digits = string.digits
    symbols = string.punctuation

    # Combine all characters
    all_characters = letters + digits + symbols

    while True:
        password = ''
        # Generate password

Learn Regular Expressions by Building a Password Generator - Step 69

Hello! Welcome to the forum :wave:

Modify your generate_password() call to take only length=8.

You’ve removed length=8 from your arguments but the instructions want you to remove everything else except length=8. Keep length=8

Thank you so much, English is not my native and I was very confused
