To put everything you have learned together, update your dearRegex to map the vowels to the corresponding numbers (note that i should match 1, and also match the pipe symbol |), and to match whole words. pleace someone help me with this. i just camt understand how to modyfy it. its from a spam filter js

why did you add the non-capturing group? you need to change the match for i to something that matches also 1 and |, and you did, but you also added the non capturing group. Can you try without the non capturing groups?
