Learn String Manipulation by Building a Cipher - Step 16

Can anyone help ! The step 16 asked me to declare a variable name shifted I declared a variable as you see. The next thing step 16 asked me to assign it the alphabet letter at index plus shift.
Would someone please tell me how to do that ?

Let the code work out shifted index.
Replace the number in your code for shifted with the two required variables.

in simple word:
1- add the variable “shifted”
2- assign “alphabet” then nex to it, add “index + shift” between this [ ] and not ( ).
