Describe your issue in detail here.
I’m not quite understanding what I am being told to do here.
Your code so far
text = 'Hello World'
shift = 3
alphabet = 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz'
# User Editable Region
index = alphabet.find(char)
for index in alphabet.find(char):

Learning to describe problems is hard, but it is an important part of learning how to code.
Also, the more you say, the more we can help!
I suggest you to reset the code for this step. You are not supposed to change the existing lines of code: you changed char into index and removed the indentation.
The index variable must be declared inside the loop body: alphabet.find(char) references char, which must be already declared, otherwise it’ll throw an error.
