Why would this be incorrect? I have tried moving the indentations multiple places and it’s still not allowing me to proceed. I am having trouble with the if and else syntax.

Hi and welcome to the forum! :wave:

indent all the subsequent lines of code except the print() call.

This refers to this line:

print('char:', char, 'encrypted text:', encrypted_text)

You don’t need to add that extra print() statement.

These 3 lines should be indented to be part of the else: block of code:
