Wrap the .canvas element in another div . Give that div the frame class.

I’m not sure how you came up with this? You seem to have inserted a CSS selector inside one of your div elements?
Also, note that the syntax for HTML attributes is attribute="value". It’s correct on one of your div elements but not the other.
Finally, your ‘canvas’ div should be nested inside your ‘frame’ div (i.e. between the opening and closing ‘frame’ div tags).
