I don’t have an issue with my code, but had a question about classes in CSS. I notice that sometimes there’s a period before the selectors and sometimes there isn’t. Can someone clarify why that is?
use the element name as a selector without a dot. eg h1, body, p etc
use the class names assigned to an element with a dot in front
<p class=“fancy”>this is fancy text</p>
.fancy is the selector you would use to get all elements of class fancy
