Need to make sure your span is after the whole .left-container element, not just after the opening tag. If it is between the opening and closing tags it won’t pass.

When we say element it comprises of both opening and closing tag. So add span element after the </div> tag

This is the closing </div> tag of your .left-container:

Below this closing tag (in other words, after the .left-container) you should add the span element.
