Challenge: Learn Typography by Building a Nutrition Label - Step 43

Link to the challenge:

This span is malformed (missing a ")

This span is empty

okay i fixed the first one and now it saying one span element should wrap the text Total Fat

Can you show your updated code. Use the format button that looks like </> and paste your code between the lines it gives you

<p><span>Total Fat<span class="bold"></span></span> <span class="align">8g</span> <span class="bold">10%</span></p>

This span is empty. That can’t be right

<p><span class="bold">Total Fat</span> <span>8g</span> <span class="bold">10%</span>

It is now saying it Total Fat needs to be wrapped and i thought i have it wrapped. I will be honest i dont know how to do the span.

Ya, the hints for this step are not good. I would ignore them. You are very close. You just need to fix/move one thing. This is the instruction you are not getting right:

“…nest the Total Fat span element and the text 8g in an additional span element”

Not trying to be insulting here. A lot of people get stuck on this. Can you explain what you don’t understand about this instruction, or what is confusing about it? If we have a better understanding of why people aren’t getting this then perhaps we can reword it to make it clearer.
