You are missing a span
tag. Every span
element here should have a pair of tags.
this was my first code.
<p><span class="bold">Total Fat</span><span class="bold"> 8g</span><span class="bold">10%</span></p>
For your code to display correctly on the forum, you need to enclose it between two sets of triple backticks. You can do this manually or use the Preformatted Text tool (</>
icon or CTRL+e). I have edited your post to demonstrate.
I would reset this step and then take complete it again step by step.
After your last .divider
element, create a p
element and give it the text Total Fat 8g 10%
.
Wrap the text Total Fat
in a span
element with the class
of bold
.
Wrap the text 10%
in another span
element with the class
of bold
.
Finally, nest the Total Fat
span
element and the text 8g
in an additional span
element for alignment.
It’s step 4 which trips a lot of people up. The final span
needs to wrap around everything inside the p
element, before the ‘10%’ span
.
hi, thank you for your response!
I’ve tried that one, but it says “Your p element should have three span elements.”
<p><span><span class="bold">Total Fat</span><span class="bold"> 8g</span></span><span class="bold">10%</span></p>
It kept saying "your new p element should have the text [Total Fat 8g 10%], and the only way to have these in bold is:
<p><span class="bold">Total</span><span class="bold">Fat</span><span><span class="bold">8g</span></span><span class="bold">10%</span></p>
finally! got it! but it made me crazy because the instructions is quite different from the result. The hint says “your p element should have text [Total Fat 8g 10%]” and they look bold but the correct answer is different.
