Make Text Bold using Strong Tag

Tell us what’s happening:

I wrapped the strong tag around the text. What else am I missing?

Your code so far

  h4 {
    text-align: center;
    height: 25px;
  p {
    text-align: justify;

  .links {
    text-align: left;
    color: black;
  .fullCard {
    width: 245px;
    border: 1px solid #ccc;
    border-radius: 5px;
    margin: 10px 5px;
    padding: 4px;
  .cardContent {
    padding: 10px;
  .cardText {
    margin-bottom: 30px;
<div class="fullCard">
  <div class="cardContent">
    <div class="cardText">
      <p>Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. students at <strong>Stanford University.</strong></p>
    <div class="cardLinks">
      <a href="" target="_blank" class="links">Larry Page</a><br><br>
      <a href="" target="_blank" class="links">Sergey Brin</a>

Never mind. I removed the period from the end of the text, which solved the issue. Thanks

lol, fell into the same trap, though it doesnt make sense to me. Or does it?

yahhh … the little period kills me… lol

your code is perfectly working. In case you are not working with it then you have to put particular text in<span> tag and then you can use inline CSS as follows:

<span style='font-weight:bold'>Stanford University</span>
