MongoDB and Mongoose - Install and Set Up Mongoose

Tell us what’s happening:

I’ve tried to find all possible solutions to this, but i cant find any reason freeCodeCamp test is failing and showing 'mongoose should be connected to the database.

Considering most of the other questions were solved by replit, I’d do that too, but freeCodeCamp has switched to gitpod and its not working.

MongoDB and Mongoose - Install and Set Up Mongoose

you can do that, replit was removed as a suggestion as now it doesn’t have a free tier that have all the same features as before

can it not be fixed in gitpod at all?

I don’t think it’s gitpod the issue, it seems to be an issue on the mongo server, I have seen at least a thread in which someone managed to pass it, but I don’t know how

I dont think this will lead anywhere then, you can close the thread, i cant find the button for it

I just tested the challenge using Gitpod, and it passed just fine.

Did you follow the tutorial linked to on the challenge page? E.g. did you whitelist the IPs?

Yes, I did. Well, I’ve cleared it through replit now.
