My code will not move on

I don’t understand why this is not correct. I nested my radio buttons in their own label as instructed but the program is recognizing it. What am I doing wrong?

Your code so far

You have an extra set of tags at the beginning and end of each button.

Remove them so it looks like this:

<label for="outdoor">
<input id="outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" value="outdoor"> Outdoor
</label>

The input tags should be nested in the existing labels. Right now you have inputs before labels inside other labels.

You need to put ``` on the lines before and after your code.

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard. The “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) will also add backticks around text.

Note: Backticks are not single quotes.

You just put one (otherwise empty) label around both inputs and both labels. That is not what is asked for. You need to put each input inside its corresponding label element.

You didn’t fix your label.

As @iagas said, you should have

<label for="outdoor">
<input id="outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor" value="outdoor"> Outdoor
</label>

but you have

<input id="outdoor" type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">
<label for="outdoor">Outdoor</label>
</label>
