My personal why for embarking on my coding journey

So a little background about me. I am a 27 year old women who has been diagnosed with Autism and ADHD as well as a few other disorders that have caused me to be on disability since I was 18. From 2018 to 2021, I was studying at my local community college for an Associate’s degree in Mathematics. I was using my monthly income to pay for one or two courses per semester. This all came to a sudden halt when in August of 2021, I was diagnosed with Stage II Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma which is a type of blood cancer. I have been in remission since January of 2022. Needless to say, this caused me to take a pause in my studies. Since then, I can say that I have been holding myself back because I was always afraid of the cancer coming back if I went back to school or I got a job. Needless to say, four years later, I am on here because freecodecamp is a completely free resource and I am looking forward to finally taking back control of my life once and for all! I know that my story is somewhat uncommon or not as traditional, but I hope that for anyone on here who is struggling or who has struggled with the same issues in the past as I have, that this serves as a sort of motivation! I am wanting to earn the Certified Full-Stack Developer Certification on here so I am excited to learn so many new and exciting topics! Thank you for making this website 100% free so people like me can learn and progress in their lives and level up!
