Need help with inserting a link element

Tell us what’s happening:
Hey everyone. I’m still relatively new to coding and I am trying to understand if I need to take away the element that the style.css link is in.

  **Your code so far**
/* file: index.html */
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
  <a rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"><a href="style.css"></a>
  <meta charset="utf-8" />
  <title>Cafe Menu</title>
</head>
<body>
  <header>
    <h1>CAMPER CAFE</h1>
    <p>Est. 2020</p>
  </header>
  <main>
    <section>
      <h2>Coffee</h2>
    </section>
  </main>
</body>
<html>
/* file: styles.css */
h1, h2, p {
text-align: center;
}
  **Your browser information:**

User Agent is: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/102.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Challenge: Step 17

Link to the challenge:

To link the style sheet to the HTML you use the link element in the head instead of the a element. And then just add all of the attribute/values to the link element.

And yes, it is kind of stupid that we refer to the <a> tag as a link but also have a separate <link> tag that we also refer to as a link :grinning:

I tried it a few more times, slowly. Thanks so much! :smile:
