Nesting topic stuck

Stuck on how to nest the input text:

  **Your code so far**

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>
<main>
<p>Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

<a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

<p>Things cats love:</p>
<ul>
  <li>cat nip</li>
  <li>laser pointers</li>
  <li>lasagna</li>
</ul>
<p>Top 3 things cats hate:</p>
<ol>
  <li>flea treatment</li>
  <li>thunder</li>
  <li>other cats</li>
</ol>
<form action="https://freecatphotoapp.com/submit-cat-photo">
</form>
</main>

Challenge: Create a Form Element

Link to the challenge:

you are missing the input element that was where you added the form element, you need to add the form element around the input element - I suggest you reset your code and try again

If i reset the codes the it will take me back to the beginning completely

the code of this challenge will be back to what it was before you started, as you deleted an element that must be there it may be your only way to pass this challenge

ive managed to go back and this is my code

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>

<main>

  <p>Click here to view more <a href="#">cat photos</a>.</p>

  <a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back."></a>

  <p>Things cats love:</p>

  <ul>

    <li>cat nip</li>

    <li>laser pointers</li>

    <li>lasagna</li>

  </ul>

  <p>Top 3 things cats hate:</p>

  <ol>

    <li>flea treatment</li>

    <li>thunder</li>

    <li>other cats</li>

  </ol>

  <input type="text"placeholder="cat photo url">

</main>

now you need to add the form element again - but I think you have not reset your code because that input is not the same as the starting one, you will fail like that

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

would you suggest starting the course from the complete beginning ?

no, just reset the code for this challenge so you can start from the untouched code
