New Responsive Web Design - Step 56

Hi There - Finding it tough to get past this step. Have looked at other posts and can’t grasp why my code isn’t working.

         <input id="loving" type="checkbox">
         <label for="loving" type="checkbox"></label>

Would really appreciate some guidance!

You deleted the label text Loving that was there at the start. You will need to add it back.

The Loving you removed, place it beside the checkbox in the label element before the tag

It is great that you solved the challenge, but instead of posting your full working solution, it is best to stay focused on answering the original poster’s question(s) and help guide them with hints and suggestions to solve their own issues with the challenge.

We are trying to cut back on the number of spoiler solutions found on the forum and instead focus on helping other campers with their questions and definitely not posting full working solutions.

Thank you!

 <input id="loving" type="checkbox"> Loving
 <label for="loving" type="checkbox"></label>

Does this look correct? It still won’t accept my code :confused:

No quite. You are supposed to wrap the text Loving with the label element.

Also, the label element doesn’t use the type attribute so you can remove it from the label.

Thank you! Finally got it =)
