Please help me with problem 34 in the Cafe Menu

I am supposed to have flavor as my selector and my text-align property value as left but I clearly put it in the correct format but it is still marking it as wrong. What am i doing wrong?

   **Your code so far**
/* file: index.html */
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
   <meta charset="utf-8" />
   <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />
   <title>Cafe Menu</title>
   <link href="styles.css" rel="stylesheet"/>
   <div class="menu">
       <h1>CAMPER CAFE</h1>
       <p>Est. 2020</p>
           <p class="flavor">French Vanilla</p>
           <p>Caramel Macchiato</p>
           <p>Pumpkin Spice</p>
/* file: styles.css */
body {
 background-image: url(;

h1, h2, p {
 text-align: center;

.menu {
 width: 80%;
 background-color: burlywood;
 margin-left: auto;
 margin-right: auto;

flavor {
 text-align: left;

Take a closer look at how you identify flavor on your css. Is it a class or id?

Flavor is a class right? So do I have to put in (class=“flavor”)?

On your css lage, menu is a class also. What is the difference between how you have ‘flavor’ and how ‘.menu’ is.

Classes are identified by a '.'at the beginning in css and id is identified by a ‘#’ at the beginning

thank you so much for the explanation! it worked finally
