Very whimsical! You might want to try adding a more traditional navbar to the top of your page and adjusting either the images or text because it is very hard to read as is.
Ultimately, I wouldn’t spend too much time on the portfolio page at this stage. Just meet the user story requirements and move on to the next project to gain more experience then revisit once you are done with the front end section.
