Tell us what’s happening: The last three tests appear as X on freecodecamp’s site but when I try on codepen using the testable projects js script, I get a 16/16 ( the navbar, css flex and media query tests).

you have to make the project work on the fcc site.
That means you must include (for example) a link element to the CSS file (something you don’t need for the codepen but you need for the tests on fcc).
You can use the browser developer tools to investigate why the nav-bar is not located at the top but one possible quick way to do it to make sure you have a fixed display with a top property set to 0.
The solution was to add a link tag in the beginning on the HTML code linking to styles.css. I figured that was useless since the CSS was actually showing its effect on the HTML.
