your issue is that if contacts[0].firstName === name is false, you are returning "No such contact", and never checking the other elements in the array

  for (var i = 0; i < contacts.length; i++) {
    if (contacts[i].firstName === name) {
      // ...
    } else {
      return "No such contact";
    }

  }
