I am trying to set up my profile so that I can claim my first certificate. The certificate needs a name. I can only save my name if I provide a photo. I have provided two URLs to images, but am getting the “URL must link directly to an image file”. These are my images:
What do I need to do?
I am a little suprised by this. How is that?
I have two certifications, none of them needed from me to upload a photo.
I know nothing about a connection between setting a name and providing photo.
This appears to be a bug. If you accidentally click on the Picture placeholder, and change anything, then you are required to input a valid URL to an image.

Those links are not pointing to images. They are pointing to webpages containing images.
You will need to get the image address. I am not sure if this is possible (permanent) in Google Drive, but on Twitter, you can click on the image you want, then right-click and select Copy image address.
Use what you just copied for your image URL.
Hope this helps
All good. Thanks so much for the help.
You can use your github image link or twitter image link.
You can use Facebook image link, as well.
