Remove an Element Using jQuery 5

Tell us what’s happening:
I have tried just about everything to get this correct. Can someone point me in the right direction? I’m learning jQuery for school, as that’s what I’m about to be learning, starting on Monday.

Hello your error is

$("#target4").remove("#target4");

you can’t target an element and give itself in parameter of the remove() function. If you target the element that you want to remove, the function should not have a parameter as

$("#target").remove()

Thank you. I’m having a hard time understanding jQuery today because it’s something I need to learn for school, as I’ll be using it with my Pseudocode in my new course starting Monday for school.
