Request for Open Badge / Credly Support for Certificates

Hello freeCodeCamp Support Team,

I am a learner and have successfully completed some freeCodeCamp certifications. I really appreciate the effort you put into making high-quality education available for free.

Currently, I am trying to showcase my certificates on professional platforms such as Upwork. However, Upwork only verifies certificates that are issued in the Open Badge 2.0/3.0 standard or through platforms like Credly.

Since freeCodeCamp certificates are provided as public verification links, they appear as “Unverified” on Upwork and similar platforms.

My question is:

  1. Does freeCodeCamp have any plan to issue certificates in Open Badge format?

  2. Or will there be an option in the future to connect freeCodeCamp certificates to Credly or similar services?

This feature would help many learners like me to showcase their achievements as verified credentials in professional marketplaces and on LinkedIn.
