I’m working on a JavaScript function called updateScore, and I’m struggling to implement one key part. The goal of the function is to:
Convert the first parameter (which might be a string like “10”) into an integer.
Add that integer to a global total score variable.
Update the text of a totalScore DOM element to reflect the new total.
Create a new
element with text in the format “achieved : selectedValue”.
Append that new
to a scoreHistory DOM element.
Your code so far
<!-- file: index.html -->
/* file: script.js */
// User Editable Region
const updateScore = (selectedValue, achieved) => {
score += selectedValue;
totalScore.textContent = score;
scoreHistory.innerHtml = `<li>${achieved} : ${selectedValue}</li>`
};
// User Editable Region
/* file: styles.css */
