There are language requirements of German B1/B2 for many jobs. In metro areas like Berlin companies aren’t hard-coded on that, especially with ML/DL specialists.

If you live and work in Berlin, you don’t even need to speak German. There are services that will help you with the paper work and almost everyone speaks English here.
