I think I am following the instructions correctly but it wont make the image smaller. So I cant go to the next level.
Your code so far
<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}
h2 {
font-family: Lobster, Monospace;
}
p {
font-size: 16px;
font-family: Monospace;
}
smaller-image {
width: 100px;
}
</style>
<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>
<img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back. ">
<p class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>
<p class="red-text">Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>

There are two errors in your solution:
- You aren’t creating a class called
smaller-image
. What does creating a class in the style
element require?
- You aren’t applying a class called
smaller-image
to your img
element. How do you add a class to an element?
You need to make “smaller image” into a class by adding a “.” before it. Then apply that class in the img tag like this:
<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}
h2 {
font-family: Lobster, Monospace;
}
p {
font-size: 16px;
font-family: Monospace;
}
.smaller-image {
width: 100px;
}
</style>
<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>
<img class="smaller-image" src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back. ">
<p class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>
<p class="red-text">Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>
