Size Your Images - help!

Tell us what’s happening:
I’ve created a class to resize the image to a smaller one, as per the instructions to finish this lesson, but it’s not working anywhere! WHERE DOES IT GO? Help!

Your code so far

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lobster" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<style>
  .red-text {
    color: red;
  }

  h2 {
    font-family: Lobster, monospace;
  }

  p {
    font-size: 16px;
    font-family: monospace;
  }
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

I don’t see that resize.

I don’t know, everything works for me :thinking:

Were you able to click on the challenge? It’s asking to change the image size to a smaller one. Problem is- no matter where i put the code, it’s not working. And i’m using Google Chrome at 100% zoom.

Sure, but even if I don’t look at the challenge instructions, based on the code you posted, I don’t see any class that resizes an image.

what’s posted is the original code that i had to reset. i haven’t added anything because no matter where i put:

.smaller-image { width: 100px; }

it doesn’t work! so where do i put this?

What’s your intuition?

And then, how would you add a class to an element.

i’ve tried adding a class to the img element and still no luck… i’ll eventually get it. :crossed_fingers:

post what you’ve got and then we’ll see what else is wrong

completed it; figured it out. thanks!
