Start a new Github account?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what people’s thoughts are on starting a new Github account, (if it’s a good r bad idea). I have only been using mine sporadically, but want to start using it more consistently now and am wondering if it would be better starting it again to make it ‘look better’?

I don’t think there is anything good or bad about creating a new account. I don’t know if it matters one way or the other.

but personally, I would just stick with the one you have.

You can start using the one you have and building projects and commiting to there.
Then you can pin your best projects to your profile homepage and spruce up your homepage if you want to.

There’s no particular reason to create a new account if you already have one.
