The for attribute on the label should have the value of the id on the input. And case matters, so if the id is all lowercase then the for attribute needs to match that exactly.

Also, you don’t have any text associated with the label:

<label for="Loving"></label>

That’s an empty label because there is no text between the opening and closing tags. What do the instructions want you to use for that text?

the instructions want me to use “Loving” but when I change the id to that, I get an error. i think I nested it the way you said but it still gives me an error:

They only want the label text to be “Loving”. The id on the input should be “loving”.

I know it’s a bit confusing because we are using both “loving” and “Loving” in this solution. The id on the input needs to be “loving”. The for attribute on the label should be the same as the id. The text for the label (the stuff in between the opening and closing label tags`) should be “Loving”.

You have moved the for attribute outside of the opening label tag. It should be inside the tag. Attributes go on the tag.
