I’ve seen a lot of typos on FreeCodeCamp. Not incorrect information, just bad grammar, misspelled words, etc. (Adios instead of Axios for example) Is there a place to let the creators know about these?
Thank you for helping make FCC better. Bugs and errors can be reported as GitHub Issues. Whenever reporting a bug, please check first that there isn’t already an issue for it and provide as much detail as possible.
Is a misspelled word a “bug” or “error” in the context of a paragraph explaining an application? I feel like a bug implies code isn’t working as intended. Nothing is broken it’s just grammatically incorrect.
even if it is not exactly a bug, there is where all tickets for things to change/fix in the codebase go, we do not have an other system to collect such things
It’s easy. If you think there is a problem, then please file a bug report. Just talking about it on the forum does not get the information to the people who can make fixes.
Ok cool thanks for the clarification.
if it was easy I wouldn’t be asking for clarification. Not helpful. Thanks.
It is easy. All problems should be reported to the bug tracker. There is no other place to make bug/error/typo/whatever reports. A clarification request doesn’t have anything to do with the ‘easyness’ of the single place to report all bugs/errors/whatever.
