Urgent Request for Help with Raspberry Pi Automatic Plant Watering Project

Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well. We are in a difficult situation and I truly hope for your understanding. I am currently studying to become a developer, but we have not yet learned coding. At the moment, our course is focused on Linux, and we are working on a project.

My project partner chose an automatic plant-watering system using a Raspberry Pi. We first tried an analog moisture sensor, but even when the soil was sufficiently watered, the pump would not turn off. There seems to be an issue either with the sensor or with our code (most likely the code).

We then decided to switch to a Telegram-controlled watering system, but this became even more complicated: as soon as the pump is connected to power, it turns on immediately and does not react to the bot commands at all.

We have only 3–4 days left before the project deadline. We are desperately asking for help. If anyone could assist us in writing the correct code, we would be extremely grateful.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,

Karina

Hi

Please note the forum rules allow links to projects for the limited purpose of debugging..

I suggest you provide more information or a link to some code to see if anyone can help.
