Use the filter method to extract data wrong results

// Add your code below this line

//var filteredList;

//filteredList=watchList.filter((item) => Number(item["ImdbRating"])>8).map(function(item2){

//return {"title": item2["Title"], "rating": item2["imdbRating"]};

//});

// Add your code above this line

//console.log(filteredList);

What is going on? What are you trying to do? What part do you need help with? What errors are you experiencing? What else have you tried while attempting to solve the problem?

I had to edit. I have an object with Title and imdbRating keys. The imdbRating is a string. i have to convert it to a number and if it is >=8 return true. Then I use map to return an object with title and rating keys and values… I couldn’t post the whole object it was too large.

When i run the test it shows the results I should have and it doesn’t pass. When I try to console.log the filteredList array of objects it doesn’t print to the console.

https://learn.freecodecamp.org/javascript-algorithms-and-data-structures/functional-programming/use-the-filter-method-to-extract-data-from-an-array

I can't use a for loop to print out the array of objects because the test doesn't allow a for loop.

Thanks

Could you please add your whole code? If you don’t it is imposed to say what’s going on

This is the only place where the "I" is capitalized.

Thank you. I am so focused on trying to understand callback functions that I totally missed that. I thought the Number method wasn’t working.

The amount of time I spend debugging what turns out to be my own spelling errors is mind-boggling.
