Using Objects for Lookups-help

Tell us what’s happening:
I don’t know what is wrong and my brain is screaming. Please help.

Your code so far

// Setup
function phoneticLookup(val) {
  var result = "";

  // Only change code below this line
  var lookup = {
    "alpha": "Adams",
    "bravo": "Boston",
    "charlie": "Chicago",
    "delta": "Denver",
    "echo": "Easy",
    "foxtrot": "Frank",
  };

  // Only change code above this line
  return  result;
}

// Change this value to test
phoneticLookup("charlie");

result is always an empty string. You never assign anything to it. You also never use the val argument variable.
