Verification Code not working

When I try signing in using the verification code I get the following message.

Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later

Is there anything else I can be doing to log in?

Stretch your legs, get a glass of water, and try again after a couple minutes. Usually that is a temporary outage of the server or DB.

Thanks, but this has been going on since last night. I figured I’d try again this morning, but it’s the same issue.

I can try again this afternoon…

Try doing a hard refresh of your browser (or manually clear the FCC cookies and cashed values from your browser) and then try logging in again. (You will get emailed a new code. Make sure that you’re using the most recent one. I know that sometimes email clients can show you older emails from the same address before newer ones.)

Thanks, I cleared everything on FreeCodeCamp on my chrome browser and am still experiencing the same issues. It’s very strange.

I also tried this on another browser and I get the same issue.

Can you please report this bug as a GitHub Issue? Whenever reporting a bug, please check first that there isn’t already an issue for it and provide as much detail as possible.
