Want to find out what technology a website uses?

So I saw one codecamper ask what software was used for freecodecamp forum, so I thought anyone could benefit from this link:

It shows a lot of info about website in a nice, readable format.

If you are a Chrome user you can also add the extension - Wappalyzer

It adds an icon up beside the url bar that you can examine for any website you visit.

I’ve used it for a long while now and like it.

Nice one, but I’m not a fan of extension as they can make browser heavy, and I’ve read that they can have vulnerabilities that can be exploited if not patched up.
Also this one requests to read and change all the data on all the websites you visit which I dislike as extensions somewhat have a history of going rogue - collecting and selling your data.
