To make HTML easier to read, indent the h2 element, the comment, and p element exactly two spaces to indicate they are children of the main element.

Look at the bold text.
So indenting is adding spaces in front of the element.

Indentation means to give the spacing. In order to make the h2, comment and p tag the children, you need to give the indentation. In the challenge they have mentioned certain number of spaces to give for all the tags mentioned above. Let me know if this doesn’t help you.
