When can we expect the 2020 curriculum updates? Is it going to be released slowly, step by step?

Hey @shaux, thanks for your interest and your patience.
Right now we’re working hard on getting the required projects for the new Python curriculum ready for release. The rest of the projects will roll out sometime after that.

@garricode, great question. And thanks for posting that link to the early prototype for the RPG game.
If you’re talking about customizing the UI for the RPG game as you’re building it, I don’t see why not. We’re still working out the details about how these new projects will be implemented. Most of the projects have a very open ended last step where you basically play the finished game / use your finished app, and you should be able to make changes to the interface then.

They use NodeJS which allows you to run JavaScript on the backend. So there’s no need for PHP, plus Nodejs is more secure.
