Please help, what is wrong? It keeps saying that my image element needs to have an alt attribute.

your image tag shouldn’t have the / slash before the closing >

I believe your quotation marks are facing the wrong way. The opening quotation mark should be facing in, the closing one facing in. (Both quotation marks should be facing in.)

Yes, I am using an IPAD Pro and often have trouble with this. I wasn’t sure if it that was the problem. I will try to correct it, but if I can’t I will have to pull out the old laptop. It is quite a clunker but it doesn’t gives me problems with that. Thank you for your input.

Thank you, I will take out the slash and see if that works.

I believe the slash does not matter, as the image tag is a self closing tag, similar to the br tag. The br tag can be written like <br> or <br/> and both work, so I assume it’s the same with the image tag.
