Where did I go wrong

What challenge are you working on? What do the failing tests say?

I’ve edited your post for readability. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add backticks around text.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (’).

Hi

The part im struggling with is:

You should only have one a element.

&

Your a element should be nested within your new p element.

Well, you have two a elements.

HI

I tried to comment out the other element but then I failed the other questions. Any suggestions

Well, which one did you comment out? What error did you see once you removed the extra element you aren’t supposed to add?

This this code

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>
<main>

<a href="[https://freecatphotoapp.com](https://freecatphotoapp.com)" target="_blank">cat photos</a>

<img src="[https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat](https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat)" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back.">

<p>View more
<a href="[http://freecatphotoapp.com](http://freecatphotoapp.com)">cat photos</a>
</p>

<p>Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>
<p>Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>
</main>

This is the error

// running tests
You should only have one a element.
Your a element should be nested within your new p element.
// tests completed

Is it this challenge?

It is https not http.

I would not suggest you comment out code but delete it. If the tests are using a regex it may still pick up commented out code.

Looks like some markdown formatting is in the post now. I don’t think that is how the code actually looks.

Edit: I was going to format it but saw the markdown and just left it alone instead.

Awesome, thanks it worked!!!
