Hello fCC Fellows,
I have an issue with my running “JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures (Beta)” course on fCC. Today I completed my project “Learn Basic JavaScript by Building a Role Playing Game” from #94-107 at around 10:52-11:55am (Wednesday) BDT. But when I logged into my account again at 2:30pm today (Wednesday) I found my progress had been lost. Now I am in #94 step of the project again. This is really frustrating. By the way, that happened several times with me throughout my fCC learning journey. I hope fCC tem will look over the issue and solve it so that I do not face such annoying issues in future. Thank you.
Hello @mdkeum!
Sometimes I have this issue as well, usually accompanied by a blue banner telling me that my progress may not be saved due to the server not responding. However, my input is still there - it just needs to be resubmitted. Try going back to your steps and see if your code is still there. If it is, then just click “Check your Code” and submit it. This has worked for me.
But make sure you access the steps by clicking on the step’s no. tile directly for each step. Otherwise the step will reset and behave as if you are taking the lesson again.
Let me know if I wasn’t clear enough. It’s a bit tricky to explain!

But I did not get any blue bar so far that shows me such message.
Aha, I see. If you didn’t, then you might have really lost your progress, which is indeed a problem.
Just to let you know, the blue bar shows up only right after you move on to the next step - not later, when you log back in hours later. It only stays there briefly.
At any rate, did you try resubmitting your missing steps? Or perhaps I should ask, did you understand my bad explanation?
