<!-- file: index.html -->
/* file: styles.css */
/* User Editable Region */
@media (max-width: 1000px) {
:root {
--building-color1: #000;
}
}
/* User Editable Region */
Hola,
Bueno, la consola dice:
`// running tests
3. You should add --building-color2 with a value of #000.
4. You should add --building-color3 with a value of #000.
5. You should add --building-color4 with a value of #000.
// tests completed`
Entonces, al igual que lo hiciste con --building-color1
, necesitas agregar las otras variables: --building-color2
, --building-color3
, y --building-color4
justo debajo, todas con el valor #000
.
:root {
--building-color1: #8B4513;
--building-color2: #A52A2A;
--building-color3: #ADD8E6;
--building-color4: #654321;
}
@media (max-width: 1000px) {
:root {
--building-color1: #000;
--building-color2: #000;
--building-color3: #000;
--building-color4: #000;
}
}

I’ve edited your post to improve the readability of the code. When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with a separate line of three backticks and follow it with a separate line of three backticks to make it easier to read.
You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>
) to add backticks around text.
See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').
:root {
--building--color1: #8B4513;
--building--color2: #A52A2A;
--building--color3: #ADD8E6;
--building--color4: #654321;
}
@media (max-width: 1000px) {
:root {
--building--color1: #000;
--building--color2: #000;
--building--color3: #000;
--building--color4: #000;
}
}
thats ok?

you should not have two media queries, this step requires to add the :root
selector in the already existing media query
