Atom text editor package not working

so I thought of using atom but the thing was to run my python code I needed to install the package script but everytime I try to install packages it will not work, I get Scearching
for ‘script’ failed. Show output…

is there any way I can install the package script

Atom has been shelved. I recommend that you use vs studio. It has an atom feel to it.
