Build a Boilerplate - Build a Boilerplate

Tell us what’s happening:

I just completed the “Learn Bash by Building a Boilerplate” workshop, however, though completed while ”logged into” freeCodeCamp, freeCodeCamp is not appearing to register the progress. No instructions to register it have been presented. I followed the instruction to login (by 3rd party account) so as not to lose progress, as directed.

OK well after shutting down overnight and coming back today, I discover that the progress has now been registered. I don’t know what triggered this change, as I had previously tried refreshing the page - perhaps my retention of this progress is to do with having registered properly while still being logged in via a 3rd party login.

it may have taken more time than you were willing to wait for it last time (to sync)

I see no reason why my progress shouldn’t be registered and evident immediately, particularly after a page refresh.

I was about ready to give up on the site and write off the day I’d spent on it.

in theory, the course has to report back to the fcc server. Perhaps for some reason that communication didn’t happen right away or didn’t register right away.
