Hi, all
This isn’t really a coding question, more of an opinion on how this certificate is organized.
Hope you don’t find me too pretentious
When I saw FCC had a new Python Certification I jumped right into it even if it is in beta phase.
I’m currently working on the 4th project (Build a Polygon Area Calculator Project) and this doubt is creeping up: isn’t this project easier than the previous one ( Build a Budget App Project)?
The budget app has some tests that test the formatting of the output and the curriculum only addresses this in the “Equation Solver” project.
I fought through it, made my own research and finally solved the problem. But this was not covered anywhere until that moment.
I then thought it was the objective that you had to find it for yourself, since it is also a tool that any software developer has to master.
But the “Polygon Area calculator” seems a lot more focused on more basic concepts of OOP.
I think it would make much more sense if they were reversed.
These are just my two cents on this matter.
Keep the wonderful work of teaching the world to code!
