Build a Recipe Page - Build a Recipe Page

Tell us what’s happening:

Step 2. You should have an html element with lang set to en.
Step 3. You should have a head element within the html element.
Step 8. You should have a body element within your html element

All of these look good to me but they are being marked as incorrect. What am I doing wrong?

You’re missing the closing tag.

I tried adding a closing tag and it didn’t work

How do I do that? Make a new post?

no, share it here in a post. Create a code block with the </> button and put the code inside the code block to share it

There’s no close </htm> in this code

I think I did that wrong

yeah, </> is a button, not markdown syntax

here the instruction for markdown syntax

When you enter a code block into a forum post, please precede it with three backticks to make it easier to read.

You can also use the “preformatted text” tool in the editor (</>) to add the backticks.

See this post to find the backtick on your keyboard.
Note: Backticks (`) are not single quotes (').
